I read this book in less than 8 hours. I just could not put this book down. Candy’s story is so relatable to so many women nowadays. Her transformation from repressed divorcee to a budding social and sexual butterfly is magnificent. She’s still learning the
ropes but she has definitely opened her eyes to all the possibilities that are out there.
I cannot say enough great things about this book. The writing is excellent and witty. The story is relatable with awesome characters and great dialog. And the sex scenes are hotter than hell. I don’t like to give spoilers but just let me say if you are looking good erotica this book is for you.
To wrap things up this is an excellent book and should be read by every woman over the age of 18 of course.

Dirty White Candy as the title says it all. Candy is a recent divorcee down on her luck but looking to spice things up. So her BFF gives her a personal shopper, sex therapist and a fresh start. There are laughs, awkward moments and above all lots and lots of sex. This is not a book for the faint at heart. Candy really comes out of her shell and explores all different types of sexual experiences that her ex husband never could fulfill. The book feels as though all of us have been in that type of situation until we find what works within our everyday lives. The book was a growing tool for Candy. I felt as though I grew with the character. I really connected with David. He was shy and worried everything he was doing was wrong. I liked how he developed throughout the story. He melted my heart. I got the hots for John though. He turned me on a lot. Especially how he took charge, fulfilled Candy's fantasies and then was so sweet but sincere.
Candy Kavana, a shy and inexperienced divorcee, attends her friend’s surprising adult toy party. Volunteers for demonstrations? In any case, Candy goes from blushing and not knowing what she doesn’t know to picking up guys in bars to bring home and have sex with in a few short weeks. Based on the title I believe this is the first novel in a series. There is no cliff hanger and no hint that the story is unfinished. I really enjoyed the interactions with the guy she brings home from the bar who happens to be her neighbour. This is the only character that there was any real chemistry with or attraction to. He sounded like a great guy. Patient, kind, attentive, interested in the whole package including friendship. But she isn’t ready to settle down and so she makes it very clear to him she is seeing others. However, I just wanted her to focus on her relationship or friendship with her neighbour.
What I did not like about this novel is that it really did not fit the definition of a romance. Other than a couple scenes with Candy’s neighbour, there was no romance in this novel. Not only was there no happily ever after, there wasn’t even a hint that once was coming or being developed in a later book in the series. There is a lot of sex in this book including ménage, solo sex, and voyeurism but it lacks that emotional chemistry who can only get when there is some sort of hint of future encounters. Possibly I might have liked this better if I read this expecting something other than a romance.
Great eye opening read. Anita Cox is a brand new author for me and I can't wait to read more. This is a relatively quick read but there is a ton of fun stuff in this book. The story is not lacking anything. You have to read this.
When Candy Kavana is starting her life again after a recent divorce, she's pretty lost and she NEEDS MORE. After being traded in for a newer model by the only man she's ever been with, Candy knows that it's time to do something, but what? When her best friend, Stacy offers her some advice, she takes it. Then she has advice coming from others, and that's some very interesting advice that she puts into play.
She's a successful advertising executive, she needs to be successful in her private life too. So she's going to try the sex therapy. She goes and decides there is way more than meets the eye. She starts pursuing what does and does not feel comfortable for her. She finds she's very surprised at what she likes and continues going and meets some interesting people. When the positive personal life bleeds into her professional life, she realizes what she's been missing for years.
I won't go into a lot of detail because I don't want to spoil any details of this intense, wonderfully written, hot, short story. I loved Candy and her journey and I can't wait to see where her journey goes. I can't wait to see what she tries next. Thank you Anita for a great ride.

This was a fun light hearted story with good characters and story line of a young lady divorced and sexually repressed and finds out there is much fun in seeking sexual enlightenment .
